Artemis Fitness is about you and your ability to stay active. 

 
We are into wellness.  Ours and yours.  We are not about a one time, quick fix exercise program and diet.  We are into changing lifestyles by adding daily activities to help us stay flexible, fit and aerobically strong.
 

Linda, founder of Artemis Fitness, has been a runner for 37 years, raised two children, is an educator and holds a Masters in Education as well as certification from Road Runners Club of America as a coach.  Linda is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. She ran as part of her daily routine until she was 55 and then decided to try a 1/2 marathon, then a full marathon.  Since then she has completed many 1/2 marathons, full marathons and triathlons.  You might say she's a late bloomer!
 
 
After 15 years of coaching team sports, Jim began walking competitively.  The disciplines of distance walking opened new horizons.  He learned new techniques, achieved new levels of stamina and fitness and higher levels of focus and enjoyment.  For Jim, a walking program is the "Gold Standard" of functional fitness and the way to higher levels of performance.  Walking the path to a higher quality of life is what Jim brings to your fitness program. Jim holds a Masters in Fine Arts, is a certified running coach through Road Runners Club of America and is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer.
 
Both Jim and Linda appreciate that running and walking are only part of a complete fitness program.  Their programs and custom workout plans include strength training, upper body fitness and other cross training to help you realize your goals.


We started Artemis Fitness LLC when we realized how many people wanted to be active, but just didn't know how to go about getting a program together or what to do.  They needed structure.  
Maybe you were active in sports in high school and/or college, but lost interest, got busy, ran out of time, etc.  We've all been there, know and have used all the excuses.
